Goa with Love

Roads surrounded with lush greenery leads to magnificent beaches, yes, I am talking about Goa. My affair with Goa started in Oct 2010 and it’s still going strong. Oh! What a destination.
Where on earth I would rather be surrounded with tranquility, joy, freedom and such an awesome company. From the sun-kissed beaches, an exuberant crowd, mouthwatering Goan cuisine, glorious churches marking the imprint of Portuguese culture, ferry ride  to the diverse nightlife scene offers everything from excellent live music to ultra-cool bars, trendy clubs and great restaurants. The silence of Palolem beach accompanied with the serenity of backwaters in Canacona is a delight for people who are in search of peace, far away from the daily errands and chores. The hustle-bustle of north Goa full of party goers queued to the famous Tito’s lane, the cuisine with vindaloo and xacuti, the glorious churches, the fenny…everything about Goa is mesmerizing.

It’s a delight to travel with people who share the same level of madness. Over the years, we have evolved from free-spirited young girls to graceful and dignified women. We have stood by each other in testing times and laughed with each other on the silliest joke. Fought fiercely on petty issues and still shared the same wardrobe. We never knew that in the beauty of Goa our friendship will bloom so beautifully.

Goa leaves you bedazzled and love for it grows stronger with time. Its mystique charm is irresistible. We might grow old to be some cranky ladies, but the memories of Goa will definitely bring a smile on our wrinkled faces. I would anytime prefer to sip my potion, giggle on stupid jokes, relish the awesome seafood beneath the purple sky full of stars listening to the enchanting sound of waves that kisses the shores.

Black & White, Kings & Queens, Mambos & Brittos, Curleys & Martin’s, Palolem & Colva, Cancona & Chapora…..the list is endless…
